One of the premises behind having a
new document available when the program starts has to do with making Orbis
function well from the beginning, which requires a window to be available.
Without an open window, Orbis's background activities would not be possible.

Hello,
I've noticed that v8 always wants to have an "untitled" document
open regardless of my wishes. Have any of the folks working with v8 learned
to force it to have no documents opened, untitled or otherwise? This includes
having it start with a blank (empty, no document) screen.
