Brackets in Hebrew: Editing Keyboards

Im using beta 8z. When writing Hebrew, NB inserts LAEnglish markers before a
bracket and LAHebrew markers afterwards. But the writing direction changes
nevertheless, I have to reactivate the Hebrew keyboard afterwards, and of
course it takes at least 3 attempts to position the cursor where it should
be, most often I have to go to codes-view. I thought I could change that by
assigning simple Hebrew brackets to the keys in question, but apparently
they are already there. Is there anything that I can do (while NY solves
this problem: I've reported it when I realized what was happening) to
improve behaviour in this case? Or will I have to go back to a previous
beta-version? I'm pretty desperate, because I need brackets in Hebrew texts
all the time now
