Jeff
In NBDOS it was possible to abandon all files at once. I can't seem
to do this with NBWIN 7.0b without abandoning each individually,
storing each individually, or closing the program. Am I missing something?
I've defined a key to abandon 1 file without any warning message and
without saving the file, and another to abandon several, also without
warning and without saving.
I made sure that the key combos were ones I wouldn't hit by accident
or without thinking. (Not the same thing!) Nor can my cats hit them.
They involve moving my right hand over to the far left of the
keyboard, while at the same time holding down Shift+Alt or Ctrl+Shift+Alt.
The key definition for abandoning one file is:
##=bx,a,b,q2
To abandon several, just repeat the definition as many times as you
usually have files open at once:
##=bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2,bx,a,b,q2....and
so forth.
Best wishes
Mary
