the procedure  in NB-DOS is:
F9 ci\<CR><Space>\<CR>\  F10
in the case of changing <fullstop><SPACE> to <fullstop>,
Where <CR> is entered by (Shift+Alt)+Enter and \ is a delimiter at your
choice: \, /, ACSII 4 or what else you might choose
