bibliographies in sections?

I am curious whether there is any way to create a bibliography (without cutting and pasting, that is) that has sections of, say for example, Primary Sources and Secondary Sources.

I tried running a subject bibliography using the subset of items keyworded "dissertation" (just to see what happened), and this produced an extremely long document in which not only did there seem to be a section for each keyword, but there were multiple sections titled "art," "czech," "architecture," and so on. This did not seem to be even slightly useful.

I am currently using the latest beta, which on the whole I like. I am disappointed, though, that it is just as prone to General Protection Faults as version 7. All I can say is that this makes me save my document after pretty much every edit, not that this is a bad habit to develop.
