Dear Ron,
Thanks for your answer.
On #1, part of it seems to have been fixed, but I still get the program
stalling, and then adding all the letters at once.
On #2, I originally thought that it might be a keyboard problem, but it only
happens in NB outline, and only there.
I have contacted tech support, but they have not been able to help either.
I'm sorry that widows and orphans do not work, since I have a number of
instances where only one word carries over to the next page!
Cyprian

Hi Cyprian,
I don't know if anyone has answered your questions yet, so here's my
take:
on #1, I have no idea. But maybe this has been fixed in revision x.
#s 2&3: it sounds like a keyboard issue. Do you have this problem
when typing in other programs, or only NB? (If you're not sure, try).
If the problem is really NB specific, contact NB tech support.
On widows and orphans, as best I can tell these settings just don't
work at all, for anyone. It's very annoying, especially in frameworks,
where I'd like to keep headings and body text together.
Good luck,
Rob Harper
