Using LB is possible, but it now has a "normal" use as a cross-reference
label, and will show up in the cross-reference dialogue. I don't think
there is any harm in using a label you don't reference, but I also don't
know if a long label would confuse some other aspect of the program, since
it now keeps an index of lables.
I've was in the habit of using AN for this purpose although I find the 8.0
AN input box very inconvient for long notes (LB uses the same box). I
think PR (prompt) also survives, and has no current uses. It can be made
to show a little marker.
