Re: Non NB - any file-viewer programs out there?

Barrie -- FileSee (now version 5.0) does exactly that. It just doesn't do it very quickly, and TIFF files sometimes get hung up. I have been searching for a replacement for a while, and have done some extensive Google searching, and am on SourceForge daily, but there's always something out there I haven't heard of.

 Susan,

I will be interested to see what people say. My immediate reaction is that you are asking too much, in that viewing TIF (and other image) files requires a more sophisticated program than that required to look at text files. Most text viewers call up an image viewer from the background to do
 this task.

 Barrie.
