My apologies, but I've been busy the last few weeks and fell behind in my
email.
Some time ago, I asked a similar question and someone suggested X1
(www.x1.com). It's $75 (I think), so it's a bit more than your $50 limit,
but I am absolutely in love with this program. It indexed my hard drive and
mail and it is honestly blazingly fast. I sorts though thousands of files or
email as quickly as I type. It has saved me numerous times, and now allow me
to abandon complex directory structures For me, it's worth every penny.
Best,
Keith
