solution as a way to get over the obnoxious cases. Mark <<< Eventually I called NY and Anne told me to do more or
less the same thing, given the fact that I was not dealing with hundreds of
problem records. It turned out that I did not have to cut and paste. What I did
was to ensure that the relevant files were in the folder designated in the ‘Maintain
databeses’ list that I had selected, either because they were there or
because I then put them there. Then, I deleted the links and was able to select
‘Open link’ from the drop down list in the link field. This then
found the file in the desgnated directory. It was a pain but I think I have
completed it. I am not sure why this happened but am prepared to accept
responsibility (rather like a well-known figure recently in the news). Thanks once again. |
