Re: Version x templates

I'll be interested to see the new CSM template once 8 is out of beta, as sooner or later I'll need to get my dissertation out of its non-templated document and start using something more structured.

I had been meaning to ask what people used when they wanted a CSM-style dissertation. The only template I've used so far is the Turabian research paper. I don't yet understand templates well enough to feel comfortable creating my own for something as big as a dissertation, although I realize that eventually I would need to make some modifications in order to suit the university's formatting requirements.

I guess it comes down to the fact that while I'm pretty good at word processing in Word and WordPerfect, with NB about all I do so far is type and insert footnotes.

At
the end of the Academic Papers window, in the New Standard Document:
Academic Style Manuals window, there is a blank yellow page icon labeled
"Other Custom Style Manuals." Clicking this produces the question as to
whether one wants to install a "Thesis or Dissertation - CSM" template.
