I have in mind maintaining subject files on an ongoing basis including my own notes and
writing in addition to material culled from reference literature, museums, digs, etc.
Perhaps it makes the most sense just to maintain NB documents on individual subjects of
investigation, integrating material into these documents from Ibidem. But it would seem
practical to have a kind of database for each subject under investigation, rather than
organizing it exclusively according to sources.
