RE: Retrieving overwritten text

I wasn't very clear this morning--the point is that GoBack does recover files, but ONLY
files that it has saved into the file it creates when it is installed. In other words,
one cannot install GoBack AFTER files have been overwritten, lost, deleted, etc. and
expect it to recover them. It can only recover files that it has already protected.
Norton Utilities, however, can recover files "after the fact."

Perhaps the latest, Nortonized, version of Go Back is as you say (and I
very much suspect it is, as they also provide other utilities so why
would they also keep that function going in Go Back?), but my version,
which was bundled into my computer by Gateway does indeed recover prior
versions of files.

I should have thought of that.

Cheers anyhow!
