Thanks for answering. I suppose that you're using the standard nb.kbd
(US-style, of course with your specific adaptions) while I'm using the
german.kbd with built in umlauts etc. (ä, ö, ü, ß). After quite a history
with minor (and not so minor) nuisances with umlauts I suspect that NBWin
has less problems with the US keyboard and diacritics keyed in via menu
and/or a combination of keys than with built in keys adapted to national
keyboards. Globalisation sees winners and losers!
