Periodic unindentifable crash

Hi,

I'm getting a crash an "application error" box that when clicked upon makes
nb shut down, actually crash.   Minimal harm is done as autosave is almost
always within a minute of where I'm writing.

I'm in 6.1 on XP and doing nothing fancy, just typing in a plain vanilla
manuscript.  When the problem occurs, the palm of my hand seems to be on the
space bar (for no particular reason, just carelessness), but I can't figure
out what other key or keys I've accidentally hit.  I think they might be
some of the funny characters on the middle right side of the key board, but
I'm not sure.

Anyway, this is not a problem that can be easily identified, but if you run
across it  and have some idea which combination of keys is causing it could
you let me know.   As I mentioned I'm pretty sure my hand has drooped and is
resting on the space bar.

Sorry I don't have any more details, fortunately it is only happening once
ever 3 or 4 days.
