Maureen
I have only a single db in Ibid but
the numbering is out of sequence...so lets
have say I have 349 entries and the first is numbered #1 and the last
#400.
How do I redo the sequence so there are no
skips??
As Rick's message says:
Renumbering records to
get rid of gaps in a database is possible with an XPL program written
originally for NB-DOS by Tony Woozley and updated for NB-Win by Mary
Bernard: IBIDR#.RUN. You can download it from the NB Miscellany site,
http://users.moscow.com/rpenticoff/nb/utilities/mbutils.htm
But do pay heed to his and Mark's warnings about not renumbering a
bibliographical DB if you've already got citations from it in your
files/documents.
