Maureen:
While I'm not a Windows expert, I do use (and promote) 4DOS and 4NT
command processors. In those systems, I would open a 4NT window, change
the directory to the one with the files I want to change, and give the
command:
rename *.nts *.nb
and that would be that. I could also, if I knew that all the files on my
HD that were called *.nts should be changed, start in the root directory,
and add global to the command:
global rename *.nts *.nb
But I have no idea what to do if you don't have 4DOS or 4NT.
