envelopes

I have replaced my center-feed LaserJet 5L with a refurbished 6P (a little
noisy when
printing, but mostly I'm not printing, and it seems to handle paper well). The
6P takes
envelopes on the left with the stamp forward. Although it is the selected
printer, the
envelope menu diagram still shows a center feed. If I change it to left, the
address
prints too far to the left edge of the envelope (bottom of page from the
printers point of
view). If I leave it on left but click reverse (stamp trailing), the program
directs the
envelope to print on the right (despite the diagram, which reverses the
direction of the
envelope but not the position). So:

If I check both reverse and right feed, and put the envelope in the printer on
the left
and with stamp forward (the exact opposite of the picture), then everything
comes out
correctly.

At least this time.

Joel
