XP

We are half moved to XP. NB seems fine thought haven't tried anything real
fancy. Ibidem works as does orbis. I'll continue to report as we play with
the new operating system. (Talk about code -- system came loaded with
almost 3 gig of stuff)

Oh, when we copied our bib files to the new system and followed the 'add'
procedure as Mark described Ibidem instantly created a new data base but
treated it as a personal data base not as a bibliographic data base. I had
that problem once before; to solve it, you have to open ibidem.ini, notethe
areas in which the various ibidem data bases are described and overwrite the
erroneous term
 with the word 'bibliographic'. l
