To all You folks on Nota Bene: Millions thanks to
all for every bits of information and ideas on this occasion of happy
holidays.
I have tried "Atlantis" after dowloading it from the
web site THANKS TO YOU.
However, unlike your experience, before I had a chance to
delve in deeper, any click on help related items gives an error
message:
HTML Help ActiveX
Control
Need a newer version of HHCTRL. OCX
and then freezes the program up. I had to Ctrl+Atl+Del key
board dancing to get out of it.
It would be very nice if the program tells me what the
hell .OCX is and where to find it (from Bill Gates or from their website) and
does not fall into an icepond.
Mine is Window 95 SE. (Sorry for my old system). I
will try on my new system at home of Window XP.
I will try to contact them to resolve the first
huddle.

The product is called "Atlantis" and is still a far cry from the featurerichness and suitability for academic purposes that characterizes NB. But I have been using it on and off for almost a year now - and have yet to see it crash! -- Best regards, Jannik Lindquist Lingua Workstations, 5.5, update 3 Windows 98 SE |
