Ibid. - Citation

A rather blasphemous question: is it possible to convert an Ibid database
into the Citation system?

I am beginning a collaboration with a colleague who has extensive files
created in WordPerfect, and changing to Citation may be the simpler way to
develop a shared bibliography. Citation's printed documentation may also
ease the transition for this somewhat computer-phobic co-author.

If this also sounds like a disastrous mistake for any reasons I'm missing,
please offer warnings -- or thoughts.
