On my version of Lingua Plus you can type F5, E and get the Euro symbol.  I 
don't know if this is also available in NBW.

The current version of Word has all the Unicode characters.  If you select 
Lucida Sans Unicode, then Insert Characters you can find an amazing list of 
things.  If you don't have access to a recent copy of Word, describe what 
the symbols look like and I can tell you if they are there...
