RE: Setting up NBW

David--
You will get other and better answers, but it seems to be a slow Saturday night,
so here goes:
1) I would suggest first of all that you do a batch conversion of the files you
want to transfer. Open each one in NBW to see if you need to do further
tweaking to make them the template you want.
2) To incorporate the style sheets for letters, memos, etc., do the following:
a) Open (call) the first coverted style sheet you want to incorporate. Define
it and copy it.
b)Click on File/New, or the blank page at far left of the screen. This will
bring up the New Standard Document: Academic Style Manuals menu.
c) Select the tab of the type of document you want, such as Letter, then click
the radio button at the bottom of the screen to Template.
d)Then go back up and click on the Blank icon. You will then have a blank
screen.
e) Paste the copied file from a) in the blank screen . Make sure it is what you
want, type the name you want it to have in the box above, then save it.
You now have your letter template.

You can bring in your more complicated document styles in the same way. They
will, of course, require much more fiddling with.

There it is, FWIW! Welcome aboard NBWIN!
