Hope all is well otherwise out there in the mountains. I have to concur
with Robert, I'm running NBwin on both my office and home computer both
of which operate with Win 2000. The operating system itself is a little
slower than I would like even with lots of memory, but it is more
stable with NB. I think NBwin generally likes to be pretty isolated,
operating apart from other programs as it were, and Win 2000 seems to
be better at giving it that illusion. Quick qualifier: I don't know
enough about Win 2000 to be making any claims about "virtual machines,"
this is just an experiential observation.
