Major Problems with Ibidem

        In the last few days I have had some major problems with Ibidem. When I 
open Ibidem and scroll down the screen (in table view), the blue highlight 
bar gets stuck on the sixth entry, and Ibidem and NBWIN then hang 
themselves. Using Ctrl-Alt-Del I can then close down the program. I had had 
intermittent problems with Ibidem before this, especially when I wanted to 
insert a citation into a footnote in a document that I was writing. The 
program would hang itself only when I tried to insert citations from 
particular authors (my own works among them). I removed the offending 
records from my Ibidem database,  and then reindexed the whole thing (I 
have done this more than once), completely removed the database and then 
performed the conversion process from DOSIbidem (twice, now). I have still 
have the problem. My Ibidem database has only about 1500 entries, all 
except about 10 of which were converted from DOSIbidem. I am using a 
Pentium III 800, with 128 MB RAM, and my OS is Win98SE. I am using LWS 5.2 
Update 2.
        Any help would be much appreciated, as I have now reverted to DOSLingua 
for the sake of my sanity.
