Re: (Fwd) Ibidem blank records

Tom:

There are many ways to accidentally insert empty records into an IBIDEM
database. To get rid of them you have to delete them manually(klicking the
delete record button, or using SHIFT-CTRL-F9, or EDIT-menu-access), and then
run a re-indexing. (Seems logical: _empty_ records are not really empty, at
least they contain basic record definitions.)

| One of my Ibidem databases has many blank records scattered through it,
| so I thought I would run the Compact Database program. However, when I
| did so, the blank records were not eliminated. Aren't they supposed to be?
| How did they get in there in the first place? How can I get rid of them? I'm
| using NBW 5.1 with Ibid Plus, upgrade downloaded June 23, 2000.
