I did not realize that I was asking a somewhat complicated question
when I asked the question. I was really wanting to try to cut down
of the use of paper, and the storage space required, as well. And
so it occurred to me that it should be possible to do easily with NB
4.5 what can be done with "that popular wordprocessing programme,
version 5.1." But as I toy with it, I'm discovering that it's not
as easy as it should be, ...if WordPerfect is any measure. There, I
said it, ...Wordperfect, ...Wordperfect.
Yes, what I'm attempting to do is have it like an open book, with
what I am calling a panel on the left of the 8.5" x 11" piece of
paper, and another panel on the right, ...I suppose snaking would
be the appropriate term here. I've looked at a few of the dedicated
"paper saver" type programmes that are available, but I have not be
able to get used to them. Being a DOS person, the most interesting
one I've found is by Korenthal Associates. It's called 4Print, and
is capable of producing a booklet even. But it's far from easy to
use, _especially if you mean to go all the way and produce a booklet_.
So, I came back to NB, especting that it would do this with ease.
No such luck, ...at least not yet.
By the way, thanks for the help.
