controlling resolution and icon positions

Here's a possible, high tech solution for the problem of icon
disarray after your screen resolution has been changed. It just
appeared on ZDNET's new fil
list,

The description follows.

A low tech solution that I used for this problem was to threaten my
son with the loss of computer gaming if he didn't put my icons back
where they belonged. Crude, but effective.

favorite display settings with fast access using tray menu or
keyboard short cuts. Pre-built favorites allows you to incrementally
enlarge or reduce the desktop size. You may browse screen savers
using resizable preview dialog. Any screen saver can be launched,
configured, or set as the default directly from the tray menu. Also
you can configure options to launch screen savers quickly by
double-clicking the tray icon. You have full wallpaper control with
1st QuickRes. You can browse wallpapers in a dialog with preview or

of your favorite JPEG images and set them as wallpapers. 1st QuickRes
