Forgot to translate those codes. Should have read:

BX xxxxx Q2. Not E2 -- my error in not translating. The Q2 is an execute 
function. If you like there are two pages about this in the XY customization 
manual, which I can send you snail mail. Try going to the command line and 
typing pfunc Q2, which should give you the executable command in a program 
file. Same with BX -- pfunc BX. Any function call too.

I'll try autocheck calls on a key to see how that works. Funny I can't get it 
to work from the menu. Yes, I do have the latest version, 5.004

I'd appreciate info on the NB list archive. That might help.

Let me know if you want to do anything specific in terms of function calls and 
I'll look them up in the Xy book. Might work. Never know.

I wish NB had either programming notes or a list of function calls for all the 
things on the pull down menus. That way we could try them from the command 
line. 

And, of course, I'm grateful for any help. Thanks.
