Windows annoyances

At work we have a new ink-jet printer, low-cost type. Everything OK, but the 
fact that this machine doesn't print from DOS anymore. No drivers (clearly 
stated by the manual).
If you want to do some job with your "ancient" software, then it must be 
installed under Windows and used from there.
I am in troubles as my DOS programs started to behave herratically when 
printing, so I can rely on my old home printer only.
GrandView printed an half page and stopped.
NB DOS froze as others...
My job became time-wasting because of Windows.
