NB 4.5 and Dell, was: NB 4.5 and W98 (Marilyn Edelstein)

Same sad story: I' m running NB 4.5a under Win95 on a Dell XPS 233 Desktop
with a Minolta Pagepro Laserprinter emulating HP5L (since October 1997). It
worked and printed beautifully for about ten months. About two months ago NB
stopped printing: it produces the regular print file (PRINT.TMP), and then
it freezes - the file never gets to the printer. Starting a Windows-DOS
session doesn't help. Nothing I could think about (WIN-settings, drivers
etc.) would enable printing again. So I have to use a MORPHOS-transfer to a
WinWordProcessor in order to print NB-files. Probably I'll just keep on
waiting for Godot ...


After reading all the answers to Marilyn Edelstein I just tampered with the
BIOS: I set _USING A PLUG&PLAY OS_ to _NO_ - and I am back to printing.
