The list is still active, though more lethargic than it once was
while the appearance of NBwindows is awaited.  Make sure you have the
all the fixes of NB4.5 that appeared after the initial disks went out
(you can get them from the www.notabene.com).  Make sure you have DOS
spooling turned OFF  in the printer properties page (details/ port
settings).   If you have a SCSI device (e.g. zip drive) sharing the
printer port you might have conflicts, though they should be soluble.
If your printer is HP laserjet, you need to use the PCL driver, I
think.   Let us know if it is an HP, and somewhat here might remember
the name of the file that shouldn't be there; it reports back to
windows the status of the printer and makes more trouble of its own.
