Weekly Announcements
**************************
The Foundation for Immigrant Resources and Education (FIRE), along
with the Central Presbyterian Church, would like to invite you to take
part in a forum discussing recent immigration legislation and policy
alternatives on March 14, Tuesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the church
located at 500 Cedar Street, St. Paul, MN 55101. The forum will
include a speaker panel and a question and answer period from the
audience. In addition, there will be opportunities for those in
attendance to sign up to volunteer for organizations serving
immigrants, and opportunities to learn more about ways to contact the
state legislature and have your voice heard. The forum is expected to
generate increased awareness of the issues facing our immigrant
community, the implications of these policies on existing programs
for immigrants, and to offer alternatives for our government to
consider. We also believe this forum will encourage participants to
become more active in supporting the rights and needs of immigrant
communities. We hope to see you there!

aware that they will have limited store hours during the week of March

regular hours the week of March 27. We apologize for this
inconvenience, but we hope that knowing about it ahead of time will
help you plan accordingly.
