Student Teaching Seminar

***FOR SECOND LICENSE STUDENTS ONLY***
Please rememeber that you need to attend a student teaching seminar before you 
student teach, and that you need to inform of us of your plans for student 
teaching three months before you student teach. The seminar is Educ 0567. It 
will take place on August 13 from 8:30 to 1:30. It's free, but you must 
register for it. If you need help with registration, call 651-523-3000. If you

MinneTESOL at the Fair
The summer is racing by and soon the State Fair will be upon us.
MinneTESOL will again have a day at the Education Minnesota Booth this
year.  That day will be Saturday August 27th, 2005.  We need 12
enthusiastic volunteers to staff the booth.  Volunteer duties include
answering fairgoer questions, handing out information and most
importantly, having people participate in activities that inform people
about what we do such as the annual trivia contest, reading to kids, and
teaching demos (if you have one you want to do), etc.  It is always a
lot of fun.

Volunteers work one three-hour shift and get a Fair entrance ticket and
an Education Minnesota T-shirt! IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER, email me your
NAME, POSTAL ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, the SHIFT you would be available to
work from the list below, and your T-SHIRT SIZE (from small to 3XL).  I
will fit you in as space is available.

SHIFTS:
SATURDAY AUGUST 27th, 2005
9:00 am - 12:00 noon
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
