Job Opening
Cedar Riverside People's Center is looking for someone to teach ESL to adults 5
hours/week from now through November. Pay is $13.48/hour. You'll need to
provide your own materials (you can xerox them at the Center). If you're

Adult ESL Position in Brooklyn Center
Teacher - Community Education/Adult Basic Education
Posting number: CET05-355
PT; year-round; 3 nights (M, T, W - M, T during summer months); 12 hrs/wk.
Teach ESL to adult learners in Brooklyn Center location. Minimum
qualifications: Current Minnesota teaching license (any field) or BA or MA in
ESL, applied linguistics, or bilingual education; strong communication and
organizational skills; ability to be flexible and function well in a busy
environment, to work well as a team member, and to work well with volunteers.
Experience in an ESL or ABE program preferred. Experience working with adults
preferred. Computer knowledge preferred. Start date: ASAP after closing.
