Adult ESL Sub Job Openings at Lehmann Center in Minneapolis
These positions are paid hourly. The classes take place on Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings (6:30 - 9pm).  The sub jobs may
include teacing anything from pre-lit to level 6/Transition to GED.  
Experience is preferred but not required. The pay is approximately $25

Volunteers Needed
The Urban Arts Academy is a non-profit, after-school arts enrichment
program that serves children in the Bancroft, Bryant, Central, and
Powderhorn neighborhoods of South Minneapolis.  These children are, by
and large, coming from quite underprivileged backgrounds and have little
access to arts programs outside of school.  So we provide professional
teaching artists that work with the kids on a wide range of artistic
activities (mask making, keyboards, African drum, tap dance, etc.) and
we utilize volunteers and tutors to support the kids with their
academics.  We have been so fortunate to have some excellent tutors
from some of the local colleges and universities, and, as our program
is
growing, we need to find more of these folks.  

My immediate need is for additional volunteers, especially on Tuesday
afternoons from 2:15 - 4:45, but I'd be very open to pursuing
longer-term arrangements that are mutually beneficial.

 We have increased the number of students we serve by almost 50% since
last fall, and project continued growth, as
the need in this community is so great.

Adult ESL Openings Available at the Roseville Adult Learning Center

Openings are Monday through Friday plus one opening on Thursday nights.
 Positions will start on March 28th and, based on enrollment, may
continue until June 30th. Salary range begins at $20.00 per hour. 
Openings will vary from 2.5 hours to 4 hours per opening plus prep time.
 Posting to remain open until positions are filled. Minnesota License

Volunteers Needed
The Read, Read, Read program at Mississippi Creative Arts Magnet School
in Saint Paul is look for dedicated people to volunteer 1 hour per with
the English Language Learners program. They are great kids and are eager
