I am John Sedey,  the manager of area learning centers for Northeast
Metro Intermediate 
District 916.  We have an open position for an English Language Learner

teacher, secondary licensed.  We would consider a person who is in the

process of completing licensure.  The position is located at our
learning 
center on 40th and Central in Columbia Heights.

The area learning centers provide a safe, supportive environment for 
learners whose needs have not been fully met in a traditional school 
setting.  Learners must have completed 8th grade, but not reached the
age 
of 21.  In the area learning center they develop and demonstrate
academic, 
career, and social skills in the process of earning a high school
diploma.

We are looking for an energetic person who can provide ELL services,
and 
possibility assist us in the development of a newcomer center for our
