setvect and getvect

Does anyone knows a trick to recreate the instructions setvect and getvect that existed in previous version of Borland C++. I know that it is possible to recreate the outport and inport instructions with the _emit_ instruction so that it will work at least with Windows 95.

I would be very interrested in a similar trick for the setvect and getvect instructions.
