Martin,
    There's a book "C++ Buileder How-To" put out by the Waite Group Press.
It has a section dealing with this The book is put out by John Miano, Tom
Cabanski, and Harold Howe.  It also contains a screen saver expert.  It's
worth the 49.99 US.  If you don't want to buy it, I'll send code.(not from
the book) but it may help you out. Let me know.
