New TTable descendent component

I would like to create a descendent of TTable which extends its
functionality to aid in the creation of local database files.  Could
anyone tell me how to add the functionality to the component so that
when I double click on it during design time my own window comes up
rather than the persistent fields window.  Also, how would I implement
my own persistent fields ability?
