Re: Can Builder 1.0 and 3.0 coexist?

I have had to partition my disk (cluster size stuff) and keep BCB1 on
D:\cbuilder and BCB3 on f:\cbuilder. Double clicking a *.mak opens BCB1, and
*.bpr opens BCB3. I have worked with both for almost the whole month, and
never had a conflict. I'm sure you don't need disk partitioning to do the
same, using different folders. The DBE is in the c:\Programs
Folder\Shared\Borland, and is used gracefully by BCB1, BCB3, and Delphi3.
Unless you do something else with yours, my TextPad32 application opens all
source files (.c, .h, .hpp, .cpp, .pas, .inc, .rc, .def) in the Shell.

**BottomLine** I think you're OK with both on the same system. And I've used
both at the same time, comparing stuff. (I still like BCB1...???)((Atleast
until I get my 300+ components into BCB3))
