There's a component (V1) that does very similar to you describe at The Bits. Places a bitmap on a window, tiled or centred. Get it at http://www.cbuilder.dthomas.co.uk/comp/compgra.htm . It's called Wallpaper_BCB. Unfortunately, no source code though. Alan
