TxyScatter - xyhist

Does anyone have an example of using the xyhist component from TxyScatter.
I'm trying to figure out
how use data in it.   I've tried the hookdataseries method with something
like:

BarChart->hookdataseries(xyScatter[1],false);  where xyScatter is previous
data I loaded with when doing a scatter plot.
