[BCB1]Re: Now that C++ Builder 3.0 is Out

INDICATE YOUR VERSION not which one you think it relates to...

And since this is taking off...Would someone care to get our listsrv
owner's opinion?? He'll need to include the "suggestion" in his initial
welcome letter to new subscribers.

While you (Daniel) would like to filter through your mail, others may just
want the info. I'm having a hard time visually scanning through the
subjects, that are now clutterd with [BCB3]...[BCB1]...[BCB1][BCB3]...as
qualifiers. If it relates to both versions, why would you use the
later.(since there are only the two) Further more, and in a few months, who
can tell if it's version specific, when we get new subsribers to this
thread who never seen version one.

I'm OK with the qualifier if it's short enough to ignore, I don't read my
mail full screen so the subject line is shorter. I see [BCB1] [BCB3]
Subj... and that's where my complaint with this lies. You're burning up
the Subject line with the Qualifier.

Like Barry joked "[1] [3]", but the "rules of use" need to be more
specific. Rather than deciding whether a topic is version related, the
author should just indicate his version, and let the reader decide if
that's something that works in both versions (a general programming
problem) or just in his version.
