TGraphicField and persistant fields

I've defined a file using persistant fields.  It uses the Paradox
driver.  It has been working fine.  I have code to check if the file
exists.  The program creates the file if it doesn't.  When I added a
TGraphicField component (named ItemBinary) to the persistant field list,
I'm getting an error on execution: "Field ItemBinary is not the the
expected type."

Does anyone know what is happening?
