Right Where You Left it, That's Right

Level: Easy/Intermediate

A1: Balance the ring, and Petronella turn to the right one place
Turn an extra half turn to face the next couple (8)
Balance the new ring, and Petronella turn to the LEFT (8)
A2: Women start a left shoulder hey for four across the set (16)
B1: Gypsy and swing your partner (16)
B2: Right and left through across the set (8)
Circle left 1x (8)

This dance pulls two rather unusual Petronella moves. First an extra turn that makes up the progression, and second a Petronella turn to the left. Expect a fair amount of grumbling by the crowd on this, and emphasize the balance in the ring to be in and out. To my knowledge this is the only dance I have ever seen with a Petronella turn to the left (probably good reasons for that!).

Men should assist women into the hey after the last Petronella turn.

Gypsy and swing partner can be made into a balance and swing, or just a swing depending on the experience level of the crowd and the music. The women starting the left shoulder hey puts couples into this natuarally.

Composed while having dental work done (yet again). At least it kept my mind off of the nice woman hammering away at my teeth.
