1500 Englewood Avenue, directly to the east of Hamline United Methodist Church.
Graduate School of Liberal Studies
The Graduate School of Liberal Studies at Hamline University is a nationally recognized leader in the field of graduate liberal studies education. The program offers the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS), the Master of Fine Arts in Writing (MFA), and the Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults. In all programs faculty are dedicated to enriching the individual and collective lives of their students. Classes, which average fourteen students, meet at convenient evening hours and occasionally on weekends. The Graduate School of Liberal Studies enjoys a solid reputation among students for quality and creativity, and for its exceptional ability to educate non-traditional adult learners. Students’ total learning experience is the central focus.
