  • Department Scholarships: Science

    Hamline's Science Scholarship is designed to support students who have a demonstrated interest and aptitude in science. This award is renewable annually for four years in the amount of $3,000 

    Transfer student application deadline: March 15

    First-year student application deadline: February 1

    scholarship Criteria

    All required materials for admission to Hamline University must be submitted before applying for departmental scholarships. Scholarship applications and materials received after the deadline will not be considered. Scholarships are only awarded to students who have received an offer of admission from Hamline University.

    An undergraduate major in a hard science is required for this scholarship. Applicable majors include: biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, health science, exercise science, or forensic science.

    How to Maintain This Scholarship

    To maintain this scholarship annually, the scholarship recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA and declare a major from the above list of eligible majors by the end of the recipient's sophomore year at Hamline.
