    Sexualities and Gender Diversity Initiatives, Spectrum, and the Social Justice Program will hold a Rainbow Series Keynote: Perverse Borders: Sexuality, National Security, and the Policing of Undocumented People on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:30-8:30p.m. in Anderson Center Room 305. 

    The Music Department and The Creative Writing Programs will present a Night of Music and Spoken Word on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in Sundin Hall. The program includes a performance of the song-cycle Not Waving, But Drowning composed by Kelly Krebs, assistant dean in the College of Liberal Arts. The work will be performed by music faculty Janet Greene (clarinet), Kathy Thomsen (piano), and Deborah Carbaugh (soprano).

    Hamline sophomore biochemistry major Dave Schiller will represent Hamline University in the upcoming United States Handball Association's National Handball Tournament in Tempe, Arizona, on February 22. Schiller competed in the tournament in 2016, finishing 21st. Schiller aims to establish a handball club at Hamline University in the following months to raise awareness of the game.
