    Scholarships awards are based on the combination of your class rank or grades and your ACT or SAT scores. Use Hamline's Net Price Calculator to estimate the scholarship you have earned by your work in high school.

    Bishop Hamline Award

    or students in college readiness programs such as College Possible, Upward Bound, AVID, etc.

    Hamline Heritage Award

    for children, grandchildren, and siblings of Hamline graduates

    Hamline Firsts Award

    up to $2,500
    for first-generation college students

    Additional Scholarships

    You can also apply for additional scholarships that range from $1,500 to $5,000. These scholarships require a separate application and additional materials from the admission process. 

    Apply for a Talent Scholarship in art, art history, business, digital media arts, music, science, theatre, or writing.

    Fulford-Karp Physics Scholarship

    Full-tuition awards will be granted to students who demonstrate interest in pursuing a degree and aptitude in the field of physics. Application due January 15. Complete our online application. 

    Robbins Leadership Award

    This scholarship is designed to support students who have the Eagle Scout rank or the Girl Scout Gold Award. This award is renewable annually for three additional years and is awarded in amounts varying from $1,000 to $3,000 per year. Application due January 15.

    Student who are full members of the United Methodist Church may be eligible for a United Methodist Award at Hamline University. Eligibility and amounts vary.
